This newly created role has been established due to our client’s growth and expansion on a National level and will demand strong proven experience within a similar role.

Only those candidates that meet with ALL of the below minimum requirements for the Accountant Position will be considered for an interview -
Matric
Completed BComm in Accounting/Auditing - Completed Articles will be advantageous
Minimum of 2-4 years actual commercial experience on practical level
Have previously managed the complete Financial Accounting & Reporting Process
Possess a natural aptitude for the financial/accounting/analytical environment
Able to pay extreme attention to detail
Are deadline driven and must be disciplined from a Time Management point of view
Have great interpersonal skills
Process driven with above average analytical thinking ability – must be able to think creatively and proactively
Fully computer literate in Full MS Office Suite
Previous experience in working with HansaWorld Accounting Software application would be advantageous but not a pre-requisite, SAP or IQ Enterprise knowledge would also be advantageous
Previous management and experience in all payroll functions an advantage, but not essential
Drivers Licence
Own reliable transport
The main Key Performance Areas of this position will entail but not be limited to –
Ensuring that all reporting requirements are met on a weekly and monthly basis to Senior Management
Oversee and Manage the complete financial accounting up to balance sheet
Deliver the overall preparation, communication, consolidation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results and budgets
Setting, implementation and management of budgets
Implement and maintain required internal financial and risk management controls across all departments of operations on a National level
Improve overall profitability through management of cash flow and expenses
Manage annual audits and oversee and eensure that all controls are in place in preparation of the annual audit schedules
Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g. auditors, bank managers
To conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
Implement effective, appropriate strategic & financial planning and controls
Oversee and manage complete Debtors & Creditors function of company, including staff management
Implement and control cost centres within company
Review and improve current controls and procedures
Oversee motivation, training and performance management of accounting and other staff members in the applicable areas of responsibility
Presentation of relevant financial & accounting reports to Senior Management
In return our client offers the ideal candidate the following –
R240 000 p.a. CTC salary (depending previous experience and qualifications)
