full time Dyeing / Preparation Manager

at Persona Staff in Cape Town

Our client has an open position for Dyeing / Preparation manager to become a part of their dynamic team.

Requirements:
Continuous dyeing and bleaching experience - (Wet processes).
Formal qualification would be advantageous.
Managing sub-ordinates.
Computer literate.
Drivers licence code 08.
Knowledge of ISO9000.
Safe working processes.
Adequate knowledge of disciplinary procedures and labour relations act.
Ensure staff are adequately trained in areas of responsibility.
No colour blindness.
Housekeeping.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for dyeing and preparation of fabric, after-treatment of printed fabrics.
Dyeing of plain shades for the finishing department and ultimately the external customer through the constant achievement of targets.
Quality.
Quantity.
Time and cost to meet the agreed standards by efficiently utilising all resources.
Ensuring safe working environment and adhering to OHS Act.
