full time Material / Logistics Controller

at Persona Staff in Cape Town

Well known company based in the Western Cape is looking for a person to fill the function of a Material / Logistics Controller

REQUIREMENTS:
Matric.
Valid Drivers License.
Goal Orientated.
Go-getter.
Great planning and organizing skills.
Proficient in Ms Excel and MS Access.

DUTIES:
Required to work at both the front and back end of supply chain.
Working directly with customers.
Directly involved with customer releases and call offs and will need to work closely with the Production Planner to ensure orders are prioritized.
Required to liaise with Germany on the availability of parts.
You will have to liaise with Shipping Agents and courier companies.
Purchasing Raw materials.
Effectively communicate with both local and foreign customers.
Process requires certain specifics in terms of processing, sampling procedures, documentation aimed at satisfying ISO requirements.
