Our client based in Airport Industria has an open position for an energetic Cabinet maker to become a part of their dynamic team.

Requirements:
Relevant Qualifications would be an advantage.
Own transport.
Reliable.
Sober Habits.

Duties:
Preparing drawings from a specification or determining job requirements by examining drawings and specifications.
Producing working drawings, jigs, templates or prototypes for production and the assembly of products using computer technology.
Selecting and preparing timber and manufactured board.
Marking out, cutting and shaping materials using saws, chisels, planes, power tools and woodworking machines, including computerised machinery.
Selecting the correct adhesives for various applications.
Trimming and gluing joints and fitting parts together to form sections of furniture.
Placing sections in clamps, applying pressure and reinforcing joints with staples, dowels and screws or nails.
Removing sections from clamps and assembling them to form completed articles.
Finishing furniture using a range of techniques.
Fitting hinges, locks, catches, glass and mirrors, drawers and shelves.
Repairing damaged furniture and cabinets.
Supervising apprentices and assisting with on-the-job training.
