full time Logistics Manager - INCO terms Essential

at Persona Staff in Cape Town

Leading Engineering Company based in Bellville requires a dynamic individual to join their team.

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
Any qualifications in Logistics would count in your favour.
Good management skills.
Full understanding of INCO Terms.
Full understanding of Shipping and Bank Documentation.
Previous sales experience in the same environment would be advantage.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Above average numeric skills.
Able to work under pressure.
Computer literate - MS Office and Pastel.
Own reliable transport.
Must have matric.

Responsibilities:
Negotiate freight costs and calculate quotations.
Liaise with Shipping agents / shipping lines.
Liaise with overseas clients / agents.
Meet deadlines.
Compile loading schedule.
Compile accurate shipping documentation.
Manage logistics assistant.
Candidate must be task orientated.
Ability to multitask.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work long hours and drive deadline at all times.
Strong focus on customer needs and satisfaction thereoff.
