Cosmetics District Sales Manager

Minimum Requirements:
Must have matric and relevant tertiary qualification with strong business acumen
Must have at least 5 relevant sales experience with 2 years experience in a management/ Supervisory position
Must be able to effectively communicate in English (fluency in an African language will be an advantage as would another South African Language)
Must be fully computer literate
Must have a valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
Must be professional and well groomed in overall presentation of self
Must be creative in their problem solving abilities
Must be able to motivate and drive others
Must be resourceful and able to present on all levels of decision making
Must have exceptional interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to confidently delegate to others
Must be assertive and demonstrate sound judgement and be a natural multi-tasker
The ability to negotiate on any level is an absolute must
Must be fearless of deadlines, pressure and rejection
Must be able to travel when required
Key Performance Areas:
Reach and exceed sales and profit contribution performance objectives of the District
Recruit, train, motivate and inspire Representatives and Coordinators to ensure sales and customer growth
Analyze opportunities and develop action plans for new business/ways to grow existing business
Develop and provide support to all staff
Implement and follow through on strategies, business plans and key objectives
Ensure proper management of existing resources - human and financial - to optimise district performance
Conduct one planning day per campaign ensuring focus on identifying and scheduling an appropriate plan/tactic to achieve objectives
Contribute to the divisional sales and profit through achievement of annual target and profit plan goals, quarterly objectives, researching market opportunities, staff maintenance and retention, etc.
Develop competitive awareness within the district and report competitive activity when appropriate
