An exciting but challenging opportunity has arisen for the position of a District Sales Manager at a very dynamic Global Company that specialises in the Imports & Exports industry.
Due to the high expectations and fulfilment requirements of the District Sales Manager position, only those candidates that meet with all of the following minimum requirements need apply –

· Must have a Matric or equivalent Senior Certificate
· Relevant Marketing/Sales /Business Management diploma/degree will be seen as advantageous
· Have a minimum of at least 3- 5 years proven sales/sales management experience within the Full Supply Chain/Clearing & Forwarding Industry
· Able to clearly demonstrate the ability to coach and motivate a sales team
· Able to achieve own targets and team targets
· Fully Computer Literate (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Valid Drivers License
The key performance areas of this position will entail but not be limited to –

· Manage team of 3 sales staff directly and report into District Manager
· Ensure focussed development and strategy on increasing and retaining of existing accounts
· Manage recruitment, appointments and training of sales team
· Support and drive the district sales program
· Development and implementation of District Sales Plan – focussing on Territory Alignment, Territory Analysis, Deployment Plan and Sales administration and measures
· Drive consistent sales training on all levels
· Ensure that all sales staff makes use of Sales Automation Programme to enhance and maximise overall sales productivity
· Drive performance management measures vs. actual results
· Meet with own personal sales targets on a monthly basis
· Drive product marketing relevant to overall service offering
